Busy Bee Nursery School is currently owned and operating under Ashley Bennett and Sarah Trieber who together have over 25 years of professional preschool teaching and business management experience. We have two locations: Lynn and Peabody. Our Lynn location consists of two classrooms Preschool and Transitional Kindergarten. Our Peabody location consists of three classroom Transitional Preschool, Preschool and Transitional Kindergarten.
Ashley is a life-long Lynn resident who attended Lynn Public Schools and graduated from Lynn English High School. From there, she went on to attend New England College in Henniker, New Hampshire. After a year at NEC, she transferred to Southern New Hampshire University located in Manchester, New Hampshire. Ashley graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Child Development and a minor in Special Education. After graduating, she taught at Marblehead Children's Center as a lead teacher in the Transitional Kindergarten class. While teaching at Marblehead, Ashley also completed her Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education at American International College. Five years later, she made the transition to public schools. Just prior to acquiring Busy Bee Nursery School, Ashley taught Inclusion English at Lynn Tech for one year utilizing her minor in Special Education. Ashley resides in Lynn with her husband Bret and their two kids Blake and Brody.
Sarah grew up in Willington, Connecticut. She attended the Rectory School in Pomfret, CT, and later moved on to Miss Halls School in Pittsfield, MA. Sarah is a graduate of Lynchburg College with a major in English and Communications. After graduating college, Sarah worked in business management for 10 years. She then switched her focus to education, began working in Child Care, and started taking courses at North Shore Community College. Sarah has been working as a lead teacher for preschool and Transitional Kindergarten, on the North Shore, for the past 10 years. Sarah resides in Wenham with her husband Toby, their two kids Evelyn & Tucker and their dog Charlie.
Ashley and Sarah were presented with a once in a life time opportunity of being able to fulfill a lifelong dream of owning a preschool together. They always knew that one day this dream would become a reality. Working as preschool teachers has allowed them to gain skills in a variety of levels within the education system. They have also gained many valuable classroom skills and techniques that are needed to create a successful learning environment. Previously working together provided them many opportunities to apply their knowledge and skills for what is needed in a successful classroom. Ashley and Sarah are firm believers in using the concept of differentiated instruction in order to run a smooth, successful classroom.They believe each child has the ability to learn and as teachers it is their job to adapt to each learner’s unique learning style.
