Transitional Kindergarten Team
Ms. Amanda is a Lynn native and received her associates degree in Early Elementary Education from NSCC and recently graduated from Salem State University with a bachelor's in Elementary Education. Amanda is director certified through EEC. Ms. Amanda has over 7 years experience in in the field of education. Amanda is enthusiastic, creative, and experimental with her curriculum. Amanda has been an asset to our program and her love of children shines through her teaching.
Ms. Hannah grew up in Swampscott but is now a resident of Lawrence. In May of 2014 she graduated Salem State University with a Bachelors in Elementary Education as well as English. Over the years she has volunteered in many different classroom settings and quickly fell in love with the younger grades. Hannah enjoys being creative and using a hands on approach that keeps her students having fun while learning!
Ms. Stacey a Lynn native graduated from Lynn English and continued courses at NSCC in Early Childhood education. Stacey has been in the field for a little over 6 years. Her passion for teaching and working with children grows each year. She loves to motivate and inspire children all ages to find a passion for learning. She is currently working towards her CDA. Ms. Stacey is eager to bring her creativity into the classroom this year. We are thrilled to have her as part of our Busy Bee team!
Ms. Jen grew up in Peabody and graduated from Salem State University with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education and a minor in sociology. Over the years Ms. Jen had volunteered in several different schools as well as worked at her former High school's Day Care Center. We were lucky enough to have Ms. Jen as our intern during her junior year of college. After seeing her growth throughout the year we knew we had to have her as part of our Busy Bee Team. Ms. Jen has been a great addition to our school and we feel very fortunate to have her.
Ms. Alice grew up in Nahant and has been working in the field of education for 16 years, and has been a teacher at Busy Bee Nursery School for 13 years. Ms. Alice started her career at a home daycare where she was a teacher's aide. Ms. Alice has a wonderful rapport with people of all ages, especially children. Her ability to connect with those in her care and those around her are truly superior. Busy bee would not be the same without the spirit of Ms. Alice.
Ms. Sam a Lynn native, received her Associate's Degree in Liberal Studies from Marian Court College and later went on to receive her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and Psychology from Salem State University. Ms. Sam worked for a family day care and was a nanny prior to receiving her degree. It was during her final semesters at Salem State that she came to the Bee. She worked as an intern and proved she had a natural act for teaching, which lead us to offer her a full time position. Ms. Sam is super excited to become part of the Busy Bee team, as are we!
